1. About Us

Academyium Ltd ("Academyium", "we", "us") is a company registered in Ireland under company number CRO 775956. Our registered office is Rosetown, Athgarvan, Newbridge, Co. Kildare, W12 X447, Ireland. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of any course or conference place.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or registering for any event, you confirm that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Bookings and Payment

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the booking page and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store card details.
A confirmation email will be sent to the address you provide upon successful payment.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

More than 14 days before the event: full refund, less any payment processing fees.
8–14 days before the event: 50% refund.
7 days or fewer before the event: no refund. You may transfer your place to a colleague at no extra charge by contacting us before the event date.
Non-attendance: no refund is payable for non-attendance without prior notice.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to courses@academyium.com.
Refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.

5. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling by Academyium

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or change the venue of any event due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to insufficient enrolment, speaker unavailability, or force majeure). In the event of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a rescheduled date. We are not liable for any consequential costs such as travel or accommodation.

6. Photo & Media Consent

By attending an Academyium event, you acknowledge that photographs and video recordings may be taken for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing before the event or indicate this on the registration form.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations, and content provided at Academyium events are the intellectual property of Academyium Ltd or the respective faculty member. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share materials without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, Academyium's total liability arising out of or in connection with your use of our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Medical Disclaimer

The content delivered at Academyium courses and conferences is intended for qualified healthcare professionals for educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and should not replace professional clinical judgement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
