Introductory & Intermediate Ultrasound Modules Join us at Lincoln County Hospital for a high-yield, hands-on training day focused on the core ultrasound competencies required for ACCS training. This regional day is designed to transition trainees from basic physics to intermediate diagnostic and procedural applications. 📅 Course Overview - Date: 9th June 2026 - Location: Lincoln County Hospital, PGME - Primary Audience: ACCS Trainees (East Midlands Deanery) 🩺 Curriculum & Modules This course covers the essential building blocks of Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), focusing on both Introductory and Intermediate modules: - Vascular Access: Central and peripheral guided access. - Basic ECHO: Fundamental cardiac assessment. - eFAST: Extended Focal Assessment with Sonography in Trauma. - AAA: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screening. - Lung US: Respiratory failure and pleural assessment. - FIB: Fascia Iliaca Block for pain management.
